21 Selectors
Intermediete
and under 21 selectors have been anounced. intermediete Jonny
Dunlea, Pat Dunlea, Ronan Conlon, Pat O'Riordan, Paul Creedon,
under 21 Mickey Ring, John Ring, Davy Healy, Ger Deasy, Vincy
Harrington, Jerry Cronin, Dan Murphy. Canovee under 21s played
Nemo on January 10th, after a very compitive game Nemo won 1.08
to 0.08.

Canovee
Juvenile A.G.M. was held on January 4th. Jerry Moynhian was elected
chairman for the 4th year. Mary Brown was elected secretary. Mary
lyons was the inagural "Jack the joker" winner collecting
1000 euro, which was held in the Sportmans pub aherla over christmas.

GAA AGM 11th of December 2011
Canovee GAA Club held their adult section AGM on December 11th.The
secretarys report was the platform for plenty of positive debate
from the large attendance.much discussion centred around the the
under 16 East Region chiompionship.
Chairman John O'Sullivan highlighted the Clubs disgust at their
treatment at the county convention the night before.Club members
were told that the non coperation of 3 new juvenile boards led
to the current sad situation with canovee under 16 payers the
big losers, losing a championship in the boardroom that they had
won on the field of play.
The other item of note will see Canovee second team regrade to
Junior B Level. Canovee Treasusaers report showed the club had
a surplus for the year.the officers for the coming year are

done to Aidan Moynihan who played in Cork under 16s victory in
the Munster football tournament played in Limerick on June 17th.also
to James Moynihan, Kieran Moynihan and Conor Hughes who have also
being involved in Cork development squads all season
